In this section, you can find information on how to install Mobile Assistant for PrestaShop and set up a connection to your store.

Note: 

You can work with Mobile Assistant for PrestaShop if you have PrestaShop 1.5.1 or later and a device with Android 5.0 or later.

1. The Mobile Assistant for PrestaShop App Installation

Install Mobile Assistant for PrestaShop from Google Play on your device!

2. The Mobile Connector Module Installation

To install this module, you should have the archive with it.

You can get it in two ways:

In Admin Panel of your store, go to Modules - > Modules Manager:

Press the [Upload a module] button.

After that, select the archive with the Mobile Connector on your local machine.

Wait for the module to be installed.

When installation is completed, you can manage the settings of the Mobile Connector by pressing the [Configure] button.

To get more information on the settings of the Mobile Connector, go to the Configuration page.

3. Signing In / Signing Up

After you've installed the Mobile Assistant for PrestaShop app on your device, at your first entry, you are recommended to go through the process of authorization.

There are several options available. You can sign up by entering your email and a new password for the app and then sign in with these credentials, or you can sign in with your Facebook or Google account. You also have the option to skip authorization. However, if you do so, the connections won't be synchronized with the cloud.

We recommend to sign in to save your connection settings to the cloud. In case you want to change the device, you sign in with the same credentials, and your connection settings will appear automatically on the new device.

Note: Only connection settings are saved to the cloud, but not your store data.

After signing in, you’ll see how to establish a connection to your store with Mobile Assistant for PrestaShop.

Install Mobile Assistant Connector on your store.

Step 3.

Scan QR-code in Admin Panel or enter store credentials manually.

4. Connecting to your Store

Open your mobile app. 

At your first entry, you should establish a connection to your store. After you open the app, you should see the following window:

You may fill in the fields with your store URL, login, and password, but it is recommended to use the QR-code for connection. Press the QR-code icon to open the scanner.

Scan the QR-code from the Admin Panel of your store. You can find the QR-code on the Configure page of the Mobile Connector.

Press [Connect] to proceed.

The connection to your store is established now.
