The Mobile Assistant Connector Settings Configuration
On the “Configure” page, scroll down to the “Mobile Assistant Connector Settings” section. There, you can manage information about the connector’s users.
You may change the user’s information to your own credentials.
There are the following options in this section:
- “Login” and “Password” - By default, your login is “user” and password is randomly generated during installation. When you change the credentials, the [Save Login/Password] button appears. Press it to save your entry.
- “Permissions” - These are the main actions the user is allowed to perform in the Mobile Assistant for PrestaShop app. To edit the permissions, click the field. The “User Permissions” pop-up window will open.
Select/unselect the check-boxes to define the permissions.
- “QR-code” - Click the QR-code icon to open the window with a QR-code for adding a new connection to your store in the Mobile Assistant for PrestaShop app.
*do not scan this QR-code. There's default data that cannot be used to connect to any store
- “Status” - This icon shows whether the user is enabled. Click the icon to change the user’s status.
- “Delete user” - Click the corresponding icon to remove a user.
- [Add user] - This button is used to add a new user. Don’t forget to press the [Save] button.

There is also the possibility to use Advanced settings for the app connection configuration.
In the mobile app, open the list of connections by pressing the icon as shown in the illustration below:
In the list of connections, tap the edit button next to the necessary connection.
Then, tap the [Advanced settings] button.
There are the following options available in "Advanced settings":
Connection name
- "Obtain name automatically" - If this check-box is selected, the "Connection name" will be the same as the name of your store. If you want to specify "Connection name" manually, uncheck it.
Notification settings
- "New order creation" - If this check-box is selected, you will receive notifications about new orders at your store.
- "Order status change" - If this check-box is selected, you will receive notifications about changes in the order status. Tap the icon for order status editing, to specify statuses you don't want to receive notifications about.
- "New customer registration" - Select this check-box if you want to receive notifications about registration of new customers.
- "Non-stop notification" - This option allows you to define whether the sound of each notification will be played until the notification is reviewed. Select the check-box to enable this option.
Other settings
- "Show product thumbnails" - If this check-box is selected, products images will be visible in the list of products.
- "Order status colors" - This option allows you to select the color for order statuses.
Note: After you've changed the advanced settings, don't forget to tap the [Update] button.
